Marron glacé in Milano.

One spring day, I was in Milano but no plan at the time.

But I've never worry to waste my time if I can watch around unknown place.
Just walking around and explor the area where I never been, it make me fun and expect some happy time with someone or something.


After took my lunch, that is my favorite time to walk around.


Nobody seen around that small street under the blue sky.
Small cars are passing with slow speed on the narrow road sometime, like a old movie.

I was almost missed to watch a very small shop, it was nothing special.
But I felt something calling me...I found there are many sweets in a dark inside.
Stepped closer to the window, becoming able to see clearly.
The shop selling many articles, I think it is able to call Confectionery - Dolciumi.
It seems nobody there.

It was a tiny shop and looks so old and a kind of tired, it is like a usual local shop in the country side ... even I could not find any shop name.



Marron glacé, it was keeping in a glass case.

Only Marron glacé was so shiny in the shop.

She is smiling and telling me to " try my taste of heaven! ".

Pizza al taglio

Ciao! Hola! Cava? sour sadey! Sawadee! Xin chao! .... mmm so tired to write. lol

As you know I have written about Italian Pizza just on my weblog, under the space of ABOUT ME.

It is really not easy to find out a good Pizzaria around the world... sometime even in Italy.

Roma, it is a great city especially for cuccina:cusine:cooking ... meant taste of food.
This place is my default for the taste of Italiani.
Pizza Napolitana ...It is ok for the taste... maybe.
But I think all people of Roma love Roman styled Pizza for taste and texture.


Crispy Pizza is an only one way for making real good taste Pizza that I do believe.

If you like to have some massive and heavy Pizza when you hungry at walking around Roma for sightseeing or lazy to cook and starving at home, I recommend Pizza al taglio.

Able to get with many kinds of toppings, for example quattro formaggio.
You can ask to have it with tomato source called rossa.
If you prefer it without tomato source, you would say " bianca " for it.

So, you would have it by measurement of weight.
It is really low cost for eating like snack .. but it is a kind of heavy for snack.
Shop is usually so small, typical place to find it around Termini, it is a final train station of Roma.

My eating style?
I like to have it just around the shop what selling it.
Sitting on the chair? .. it is fine.
But still standing, it is ok for us to do... it is also a kind of typical way of eating Pizza al taglio here.

Beverages?
Ummm, my favorite way is find a bar(a place to have espresso, usually) to have some cappuccino for taking long time while watching the street from the table.

Enjoy eating seeing and loving ... at Roma ... it is a way of life here.
